Beatriz Gandarillas, Ph.D
Beatriz Gandarillas is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. She obtained her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Her primary research interests are in attitude change and persuasion, domains in social psychology in which she is an expert. Specifically, her research focuses on the study of the subjective experiences that accompany the generation of thoughts, such as the ease with which thoughts come to mind and the fluency with which objects are processed. Currently, she is interested in happiness, Wellbeing, the Self and positive attitudes in the professional and personal environment. Her work has been published in impact journals such as Journal of Experimental and Social Psychology, Psicothema, Revista de Psicología Social, Spanish Journal of Psychology.
In addition to these domains, Beatriz is interested in aspects related to attitudes change and psychosomatic experiences, studying the combination of psychological therapy and massage as a way to produce better attitudes.
